Family Table Restaurant – Cozy Family Dining with Classic Comfort Food in Le Mars, IA

My family and I always enjoy our time at Family Table. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is very family friendly, the staff is polite, the food is good, and the prices are ok. I'm a picky eater so I always tend to make substitutions in my meals and they never get it wrong. I ordered a Prime Rib Melt on marble rye with sweet potato fries and we ordered fried pickles for an appetizer.

Friendly staff, fast service and very good food. This was the first time eating there and im definitely going back soon! Very clean also! Very impressed!!

Wonderful place!!! I had the apple glazed chops, my friend the roast beef. Both were very tasty. Big portions. Fair prices for what you get. Clean. Employees treat you well. Highly recommend.

Just what we needed for breakfast. Good service and great food with a friendly atmosphere. Food was as ordered and well presented. Cost was not expensive and certainly reasonable. When I'm back in Lemars I think I'll stop again. Don't think door dash will deliver to me..

I went here for breakfast. The food was good, particularly the biscuit and gravy, and the bacon. The coffee was brown. Saturday morning and it had a lightly dreary atmosphere. Very good value! Perfectly acceptable.

A hidden gem in America's favorite small town! Country fried steak was great, coffee was brewed right, and the server was on top of everything!

This is a location of a regionally owned set of restaurants in northwest iowa. Currently, at the time of this review, there are 16 locations total, however, not all of them are called “Family Table”. Place seemed clean and kept up. No tables with dirty tops or dirty dishes on them. So tables must be cleaned quickly after people leave. Was able to be seated right away. Plenty of room. Staff kept up with ordering, drinks etc. Fries were great. Fresh and hot. As good as my burger looks in the pictures, it somehow lacked flavor. I got the Grizzly which is topped with bacon, shaved ham, melted shredded cheese & drizzled with homemade Apple BBQ sauce on a warm pretzel bun. Sounds and looks amazing. I got it because it was a temporary item and went over so well that they added it to the menu. But again, with all those flavors, it just didn’t seem to pop for me. Just seemed bland. The BBQ sauce was either made very runny, or it was diluted with the juices of the meat, as it was very runny… like watery runny. While I ate my fries, the bottom of the bun soaked up all the watery sauce, and the bun was quite soggy by the time I got to it. So I likely wouldn’t get this burger again, but much of it could be due to the nature of the beast, by what all is going into it. Place itself is worth another trip, and I saw some other meals I’d like to try. Just not sure if I’m a fan of what I got this time. Over all a good experience, just wasn’t excited about this particular order/meal, but I’m willing to go back and give some other items a try.

I enjoy going there with relatives and friends. We're not packed in like sardines in a can. The service and food is Good. A Friendly Smiling Face can help our whole experience successful.
